Truck rams into seven vehicles at Warje bridge

Pune: A truck rammed into seven vehicles, injuring a two-wheeler rider, on Wednesday night at Warje bridge on the Pune-Bengaluru highway.

The police have arrested the driver of the truck, who has been identified as Vijay Ingole (34), a resident of Theur. According to officials from the Warje Malwadi police station, the incident occurred at around 9.30 pm. The driver lost control over the truck while coming down from the bridge and rammed seven vehicles, including two-wheelers.

The driver was caught by the people and was handed over to the police. The police have registered a case of rash driving against the driver.
