Two booked for extortion threats

Pune: Two persons have been booked by police for allegedly harassing a businessman and demanding Rs 15 lakh even after he had paid back the loan amount with interest. Irfan Mulla (45) of Vadgaonsheri has registered an FIR against Virendra Jain and Jitendra Bhosale.

“Jain and his accomplice Bhosale were harassing me to pay Rs 15 lakh more,” Mulla said. The police have charged the accused under various sections of IPC.
