Pune: Two girls were allegedly molested and thrashed by three youths while they were taking a walk after dinner in Mukund Nagar on Friday night. Based on complaint from the 20-year-old girl, an FIR has been registered against the unidentified youths. 

According to the police, the incident took place around 9.30 pm. The complainant with her girl friend was walking when three youths came on a bike and molested her. When her friend intervened, the accused persons slapped her and beat her up. 
The police have charged the accused persons for offences under sections 354 (outraging modesty of woman), 323 (assault), 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
