Pune: Two men have been booked for attempt to murder by Kothrud police on Monday. 

The duo have been accused of leading out a murderous attack and creating disorder in the Shashtri Nagar area of Kothrud during the period between February 2 and 4.

One of the accused has been identified as Sanjay Mare whereas the identity of the second accused is still unknown.

According to the information provided by Kothrud police, the duo entered the house of the complainant, an elderly lady, and damaged two vehicles parked over there. 

They threatened to kill her and her family. They told the family not to mess with them. Later, the duo attacked two more people in the area with sharp-edged weapons.

Both the accused are at large and have been booked under relevant sections of Indian Penal Code by 
Kothrud police.
