Pune: Two minor boys involved in eight two-wheeler thefts were nabbed by the Nigdi police on Tuesday.
According to Senior Police Inspector Vijaykumar Palsule of Nigdi police station, officials from Nigdi police were patrolling in Sambhajinagar area when they spotted two minor boys riding a scooter. The minor boys saw the police officials and tried to escape from the spot but the officials of the Nigdi police nabbed the boys.
Investigations revealed that the two-wheeler was a stolen one.
Assistant Police Inspector Devendra Chavan said that the boys are 14-years-old and 11-years-old and are siblings.
Police Inspector Shankar Awtade said that in all, eight stolen two-wheelers were recovered from the boys.
Out of this eight two-wheelers, five were stolen from the jurisdiction of Nigdi police station and three from the jurisdiction of MIDC Bhosari police station, informed Police Inspector Awtade.
