UGC invites proposals for recognition of online courses

Pune: The University Grants Commission (UGC), In a circular, has invited proposals from Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) for recognition of courses or programmes to be offered in online mode.

Applications have been called in from eligible institutions for online courses according to the UGC (Online Courses or Programmes) Regulations, 2018 from the academic year 2019-20 onwards.

The online portal for submitting the applications will be open from January 7, and the last date to apply is January 31. Duly certified hard copies of the application submitted online along with annexures should reach the Distance Education Bureau, UGC, 35 Feroz Shah Road, New Delhi 110 001 by February 8.
