Pune: The visually challenged students at National Association for the Welfare of Physically Challenged (NAWPC) fared well in the HSC examination 2017.

Seven students from NAWPC appeared for the HSC examination this year. They are Vikran Valvi (80 per cent), Gajanan Muttanwad (73.38 per cent), Krushna Jangid (73 per cent), Aditya Tarkar (72.96 per cent), Dnyaneshwar Bhosle (67.23 per cent), Vijay Shinde (64.69 per cent) and Niyamat Syed (58 per cent).  NAWPC looks out for visually challenged students belonging to economically backward families from the villages in the state, brings them to Pune to their hostel and takes their full financial responsibility.

The successful students expressed their gratitude towards NAWPC for their support. The students celebrated their success with Founder Director of NAWPC Rahul Deshmukh and Assistant Director Devata Andure Deshmukh and also discussed their future career plans.
