Pune: In a noble gesture, a woman traffic police officer of the Pune police department took an initiative to clean the road to avoid inconvenience to the public.

A woman traffic police constable Razia Syed was seen cleaning Tilak Road after a minor accident that took place on Monday. In a viral video, she can be seen cleaning glass and fibre pieces that had fallen on the road amid a minor accident. The traffic cop is lauded for taking exemplary move to clean the road for the safety of Puneties.

Home Minister of the state Anil Deshmukh also praised the cop and shared the video on Twitter.

Anil Deshmukh on his Twitter handle wrote, "To avoid inconvenience to the citizens, women police Amaldar Razia Sayyed took the initiative&cleaned broken glasses with broomstick that had fallen on road due to a minor accident.The task carried out by her for the safety of the citizens is exemplary
