Weekly special trains from Pune to Jabalpur, Mangaluru

Pune: The Central Railway will be starting a weekly special train from Pune to Jabalpur, which will be run from January to March and Christmas special Pune to Mangaluru to cater to the huge number of passengers on these two routes. The Mangaluru train, which is a Christmas special, will make only two trips, one on December 26, 2017 and second on January 2, 2018.

According to railway officials, train number 01301 weekly special will leave Pune at 6.50 pm on Tuesday (December 26) and January 2 and will reach Mangaluru junction at 12.30 pm the next day. Train number 01302 will leave Mangaluru junction at 3.45 pm on Wednesday (December 27) and January 3 and will reach Pune at 1.10 pm the next day.

The train will halt at Lonavla, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Kudal, Thivim, Madgaon, Karwar, Kumta, Kundapura, Udupi and Mulki.

Similarly, train number 01655 weekly special will leave Pune at 10.45 am every Tuesday starting from January 9 to March 27. It will reach Jabalpur at 06.15 am the next day. Train number 01656 special will leave Jabalpur at 7.30 pm on every Sunday starting from January 7 until March 25 and will reach Pune at 2.05 pm the next day.

The train will halt at Daund, Ahmednagar, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Harda, Itarsi, Pipariya, Narsinghpur and Madan Mahal.
