WIDE Angle Plaza Festival on December 14, 15

Pune: The WIDE (Working in Design and Enterprise) Angle Forum, Pune will conduct its WIDE Angle Plaza Festival in the city on December 14 and 15. The ‘WIDE Angle Vaastu Ratna Award 2018’ will be conferred on acclaimed architect Shirish Beri.
 
Founder and Chief Co-ordinator of the Forum, Priya Gokhale said, “This award acknowledges individuals from architecture who are different in their approach, highly original thinkers and role models to others. Beri’s way of looking at the space and surroundings is of a deeply sensitive nature which has inspired thousands of individuals from a wide array of life.”

The award will be presented by Dr Anil Awachat, social activist and author. The festival will also showcase unique projects by 40 architects, along with talks by senior professionals and a special section of the work done by Mashal NGO, an organisation dedicated to slum rehabilitation. “This festival aims to celebrate art, architecture and aesthetics,” added Gokhale.
