Woman molested at Bhushi Dam; 4 persons arrested

PUNE: Four persons were arrested by the Lonavla police for allegedly molesting a 27-year-old woman and threatening her family members at Bhushi Dam in Lonavla on Wednesday. 

The victim had come along with her husband and other family members at the dam when the incident took place. In the complaint filed by the victim’s husband, he stated that the four accused were throwing water at his wife. When he questioned their behaviour, they started assaulting them. 

The Mumbai-based family approached Lonavla police and lodged a complaint against the accused, who were then arrested. The accused were identified as Sachin Shinde (22), Sharad Shinde (28), Mahesh Shinde (24) and Ganesh Sable (25).
