Youth bludgeoned with cement block

Pune: A youth sleeping outside a fabrication company was found bludgeoned to death with a cement block on Monday morning in Vidyanagar, Chinchwad.

The deceased has been identified as Imran Shaikh (20), a resident of Vidyanagar.

He was sleeping outside Immanuel Engineering when he was bludgeoned to death by an unidentified person.

Senior Police Inspector Vivek Muglikar said that Shaikh was found early in the morning by the Pimpri police in a pool of blood.

Shaikh’s father, Musa, has lodged a case with Pimpri police. Police Inspector M Kale is investigating the case.
