‘Bal Mela’ organised at CM International School

Pune: To mark the ‘Children’s Day’, CM International School of Balewadi, in association with Sakal Times YRI Young Buzz, had organised ‘Bal Mela’ on November 24 in the campus of the school.

The event was inaugurated by Director of SKP Campus Dr Sajid Alvi and Principal of CM International School Dr Rupali Dhamdhere. The event received more than 2,000 footfall, including children and elders both, as it was open to all from 5 pm to 9.30 pm. The amusements for children and elders included bouncy, wall climbing, bungee run, trampoline, balloon shooting, electronic dart, pottery, chocolate fountain and tattoo artist. Also, there were more than 30 commercial and food stalls. 

Alvi said, “The very purpose of the ‘Bal Mela’ is to bring together children and their parents on a platform to have fun in each others’ company. There are various games, fun activities, musical performances, food stalls and many other fun activities. This event has given a much needed respite to the parents from their busy schedule to enjoy some fun moments with their children.”

Dhamdhere said, “If you carry childhood with you, you never become old. Very rightly said, and the ‘Bal Mela’ at the school provided an ideal platform for the elders to relieve their childhood. This mela also gave a space for the elders to enjoy along with their children.”
