Abraham scores two as Bishop’s Camp win

Pune: The Bishop’s School, Camp defeated Hutchings High School 2-1 in the Under-14 category, on the second day of the Bishop’s Invitational Football Tournament being played at Jeejeebhoy ground, on Tuesday.

Alvin Abraham from Bishop’s scored the opener in the second minute to give his team an early lead. Abraham struck again in the 15th minute to score the second goal as the score read 2-0 in favour of the Camp outfit.

For Hutchings, Manav Dhunwani scored the lone goal in the 35th minute.
In another Under-14 encounter, St Patrick’s High School defeated The Bishop’s Co-ed School, Kalyaninagar 1-0 with Om Kamble scoring the only goal in the 8th minute.

Meanwhile, Loyola High School got the better of The Bishop’s Co-ed School, Undri 2-1 to advance further.

For Loyola, Yash Gandhi scored the first goal in the 17th minute while Ranapratap Deshmukh scored the second in the 20th minute. Later Daksh Bhagat scored the lone goal for Bishop’s, Undri in the 22nd minute.
In the Under-12 action, St Patrick’s High School defeated Mount St Patrick’s School 4-3 in a tie breaker.
