Aditya, Rutvik, Smit win gold in zonal skating

Pune: Aditya Pujari, Rutvik Sawrdekar and Smit Sapariya clinched gold medals in the CBSE South Zone Skating Championship held at Edify School , Tirupati, recently.

Aditya won gold medal in 300 metre race while Rutvik and Smit conquered gold medal in 300 metre and 1000 metre respectively. Smit was in great form as he bagged one more gold in the 1000 metre category.

Overall, Pune skaters won eight medals in the tournament. The skaters, which won gold and silver medals, are selected for National Skating Championship to be held in Bhopal during November 5 to 8.
