Baburao Chandere Social Founation wins

PUNE: Akshay Jadhav and Kiran Magar set the tone for Baburao Chandere Social Foundation as they went on to beat Utkarsh Krida Sanstha 36-9 to win the Pune District Men and Women Open Kabaddi Championship, billed as selection tournament to pick Pune team for the upcoming Maharashtra State Kabaddi championship. 

Baburao Chandere Social Foundation led 16-7 at halftime as Jadhav and Magar found support from Vikas Kale and Manoj Bondre as they won a lone with a bonus point to solidify their position.

Rajmata Jijau team won the women’s title beating Maheshdada Sports Sangh 28-15 in the championship organised by the Pune District Kabaddi Association at Wadgaon Budruk’s Shiv Chhatrapati Sports complex.
