Pune: City International School, Kothrud registered a comeback win over Abhinav Education Society’s English Medium School in the main draw stage of volleyball boys event at Sakal presents Mapro Schoolympics, in Pune on Saturday. 

After losing the first set 18-25, City International won the next two sets 25:22, 15:10 in an exciting match.

Nalanda English Medium School, Dhayari defeated Symbiosis School, Prabhat Road 2:0(25:21, 25:14), while Millennium National School, Karvenagar, and Sarhad School, Katraj also scored straight set wins on the day.

In other matches, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Sulochana Natu Vidya Mandir and Jnana Prabodhini from Nigdi received walkovers.
