Daksh, Aryan, Shreyas clinch Skating gold medals

Pune: Daksh Joshi of GG International School clinched the gold medal in the Under-12 boys Quad 500 metre category of the skating event of Sakal Schoolympics 2017 in progress at Vimannagar Roller Skating Rink on Wednesday.

Daksh edged past Tejas Kondhalkar of Vidya Vikas Vidyalaya, who won the silver medal, and Saksham Godambe of SNBP English Medium International School bagged bronze medal. 

In the 500 metre inline category of the same age group, Aryan Kholgade of Vidya Niketan English Medium School won the gold medal ahead of Piyush More of Kamalnayan Bajaj High School and Shreem Prasad of Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir, who won the silver and bronze medals.

In the under-14 Quad 500 metre category, Shreyas Atitkar of the DES Secondary School Tilak Road clinched the gold medal, while Saumya Patel of Podar International School won silver ahead of Neel Khule of Podar International International School, who won the bronze medal.
