Deccan Gymkhana beat MASA

Pune: Deccan Gymkhana ‘A’ boys defeated MASA 48-8 in the pre-quarterfinals of the 8th Late Rajabhau Chitale Memorial Under-13 District Championship in progress at Deccan Gymkhana basketball courts on Tuesday.

The Deccan lads dominated as Iron Revankar top scored for them with 12 points while Siddhant Doshi added 11 points to the tally. For MASA, Arnav Karwa scored 2 points.

In another encounter, ABC ‘A’ defeated Ideal 45-8 to advance with ease. Utkarsh Sonni (21) and Tanmay Shinde (14) got on the scoreline for ABC while Shantanu Vasagadekar and Ayush Patil scored 3 points each for Ideal.

In the girls pre-quarterfinals, Chondhe Patil Basketball Association defeated Millennium Club 20-6 to enter the quarterfinals. 

St Mary’s School defeated Maharashtriya Mandal 34-8 while Sharp Shooters defeated Hoopers 14-13.
