Dhayal sisters make it to Archery Worlds

Pune: Sincere hard work and determination helped city girls Divya and Khushbu Dhayal to get selected in the Indian team for the World Archery Youth Championship to be held in Rosario, Argentina from October 2 to 8.

Divya and Khushbu will team up with Sanchita Tiwari of Delhi. The trio will represent India in cadet compound girl’s category.

The 30 day trial camps was conducted in Rohtak, Haryana by the Archery Association of India which concluded on Sunday. In the first round of trials, eight archers from all over the country were shortlisted. Out of eight three got the place in the Indian team.

The World Championship happens once  after every two years. In 2015, the Indian archery team could not take part in the competition due to visa issues.
