Divya wins silver in Asia Cup World ranking tourney

PUNE: Divya Dhayal lost the final by a whisker to claim the silver medal in the women’s compound category event in the 2018 Asia Cup World Ranking Tournament Stage 3 in Chinese Taipei on Tuesday.

In the final, Divya was up against Ting Ting Wu of Chinese Taipei where she went down with the score line of 141-144.

Earlier in the semi-final, Divya got the better of Kanyavee Maneesombatkul of Thailand 144-141. In the quarterfinals, Divya defeated Yun Soo Song of Korea in tie breaker. 

Overall India returned home with three silver and one bronze medal.
