HTA champs win laurels in TIA Open int’l meet

Pune: City-based Horangee Taekwondo Academy’s (HTA) champions gave a great performance at 3rd TIA Open International Taekwondo  Championship in Kolkata to win 16 medals including 2 Gold, 1 Silver and 13 Bronze in the Poomsae category.

Competitors from various countries including Korea, Nepal, Indonesia, Bangladesh, and India participated and demonstrated their skills. Anvi Bangar and Aviral Tripathi bagged gold medal. Priya Bhapkar bagged Silver medal.

The Bronze medalists included Arvin Pilakudy, Tanishq Bangar, Manas Pasarkar, Jeet Majumdar, Krish Kedgoni, Sumedha Sakhare, Ishita Barnwal, Pranav Bhapkar, Sidhu Kshetri and Sarang Sarage.

The team Poomsae members also bagged a Bronze medal by competiting with Korea and Nepal.

The team Poomsae comprised Manas Pasarkar, Preet Wandre, and Tanisha Mudaliar.
