Hussain opens with win in Galande Snooker

Pune: Mohammed Hussain from Railways defeated Aryan Rajni 64-25, 62-23, 52-15 on the first day of the Narayan Galande Snooker Championship which started at The Q Club, Vimannagar here on Wednesday.

In another match, Ashutosh Padhy from JVPG, Mumbai defeated Bhopal’s Sachin Singh with the score of 64-38, 60-40, 68-67, 56-18. Meanwhile Felix Francis from PGI Club defeated Amardeep Godke from The Q Club 46-44, 60-59, 56-43 to advance further.

Also registering a win was Bipin Sankpal from PFC Club who defeated Nikhil Khobragade from Nagpur with the score reading 67-21, 32-45, 19/-48, 58-33, 60-27.

In another fixture, Sonu Matang from Cues and Cushion beat Aakash Malviya from JMD Q Club 64-12, 61-60, 76-10.
