Pune: Hutchings High School defeated  St. Anthony’s School 5-0 in the first round fixture of the Subroto Mukhrjee Cup Football Tournament at Dabarwadi Football Ground on Monday.

Aryan Chordia opened the scoring for Huctchings to make it 1-0 in the eighth minute. Two minutes later, Aabhar Datta made it 2-0.

After taking a 2-0 lead, Hutching boys continued their attacking approach as Aditya Haibir (18th and 21st) netted two goals in the span of three minutes to make it 4-0. Sanchit Paranjape added one more in the 28th minute to complete a 5-0 victory.

In the first match of the day, Symbiosis Secondary School netted eight gaols to register a 8-0 victory over Victorious School, Kharadi.
