Infosys thumps Capgemini to conquer title

PUNE: Sharon Thomson’s brilliant spell of (4/13) helped Infosys to conquer 14th Ankur Joglekar  Memorial  Inter IT  Cricket Championship title defeating Capgemini by six wickets at PYC Hindu Gymkhana Cricket Ground on Tuesday.

Bowling with a disciplined line and length helped Infosys to bowl out Capgemini for mere 84 runs.  Anand Konda and Ravi Thapliyal took two wickets each.

Infosys lost few wickets early before Ashay Palkar’s quick fire 29 of 14 balls helped Infosys to complete victory in 11.5 overs.  Infosys got richer by Rs 50000.

BRIEF SCORES:
Final: Capgemini 84 all out in 18 overs (Ravi Jha 29 (27b), Sharon Thomson 4/13) lost to Infosys 88 for 4 in 11.5 overs (Ashay Palkar 29 (14b), Chandramouli Reddy 2/28).
