Krutika, Gayatri advance in District Badminton

PUNE: Krutika Ghorpade, Gayatri Kenjale, Siddhesh Shinde and Sarvesh Houji suffered opening game defeats before making it past their opponents in the Solaris-Ravetkar Cup District Ranking Badminton Tournament being played at Mayur Colony courts on Wednesday.

In the Under-13 girls battle, Krutika Ghorpade found herself at the receiving end against Disha Zade before winning a nervy match levelling the second game and then winning 13-15, 15-14, 15-8.
