Lakshmi ensures place in finals

Pune: Sixth seeded Lakshmi Vuttukuru cruised into the Girls final in the 9th Om Dalvi Memorial Skyi Developers Trophy All India Ranking U-18 Super Series Tennis Tournament at Maharashtra Police Gymkhana beating State girl Akanksha Nitture 7-5, 1-6, 6-2.

Top seeds Kaivalya Kalamse of Nanded and Prerna Vichare of Mumbai kept their performances in track to enter the Final of the Boys and the girls event with Kalamse from Nanded outplaying third seeded Arnold Inigo Tamilnadu 6-2, 6-4 , to set up a clash with another TN player Aman Khan, who upset tenth seeded Kaushal Pujala of Telangana 6-0, 2-6, 7-5.

In the Girls singles, top seeded Prerna Vichare of Maharashtra kept her  double crown  hopes alive reaching the singles final out-rallying statemate Sharanya Shetty 6-4, 6-2.

Prerna was flawless and never looked in trouble and played her shots nicely to oust Sharany with ease.

Boys: 1-Kaivalya Kalamse (Mah) bt 3-Arnold Inigo (TN) 6-2, 6-4; Aman Khan (TN) bt 10-Kaushal Pujala (Tel) 6-0, 2-6, 7-5.
Doubles: 
Final: Rajesh Kannan and Udit Kamboj bt Amaan Khan and Arthav Neema 6-1, 6-4.
Semifinals: Amaan Khan and Arthav Neema w.o Kaivalya Kalamse and Abhishek Shukla; Rajesh Kannan and Udit Kamboj bt Sahil Dhanwani and Rushab Gundecha 6-2, 6-1.
Girls: 1-Prerna Vichare(Mah) bt Sharanya Shetty (Mah) 6-4, 6-2. 6-Lakshmi Vuttukuru (AP) bt Akanksha Nitture(Mah)7-5, 1-6, 6-2. 
Doubles:
Final: Bela Tamhankar and Prerana Vichare bt Ila Dadhe and Gargi Pawar 6-2, 6-2.
Semifinal: Bela Tamhankar and Prerana Vichare bt Richa Chougule and Dharna Mudliyar 6-2, 4-6, 10-4; Ila Dadhe and Gargi Pawar bt Sarvani C and Lakshmi Vutture 7-5, 6-4.
