Loyola Under-14, 16 teams enter semifinals

PUNE: Loyola Under-14 and Under-16 teams defeated respective opponents to enter the semifinals of the Loyola Football Cup being played at Loyola High School football ground here on Thursday.

In the Under-14 quarterfinal encounter, hosts Loyola High School defeated Vidya Valley High School 4-3.

Quarterfinals:
Under-12: Vidya Valley High School 2 (Vivek Raghuram 24th, Siddharth Sankholkar 30th) bt Loyola High School 1 (Aum Rawat 32nd).
Under-14: Loyola High School 4 (Akshat Daddo 21st, 28th, 34th, Shlok Chaudhari 49th) bt Vidya Valley High School 3 (Richard Joseph 4th, 10th, Aryan Suryawanshi 43rd).
Under-16: Loyola High School 2 (Joel Roy 54th, Arya Murkute 60th) bt Hutchings High School 0.

League round:
Under-14: Vidya Bhavan 12 (Gavin Lobo 24th, 41st,Kshitij Kokate 14th, 29th, 33rd, Aryan Sahu 50th, Daksha Desai 45th, 8th, 19th,22nd,Harshawrdhan Dhumal 49th,50th) bt Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan 1 (Shivam Suryawanshi).
