Indian shooter Manu Bhaker clinched a bronze medal in the 10m air pistol women’s event at the Asian Shooting Championships 2025 in Shymkent, Kazakhstan. Scoring 219.7 points, Bhaker finished third in the final, coming in behind gold medalist Qianke Ma of China (243.2) and Jiin Yang of South Korea (241.6). Bhaker had earlier qualified for the final with a strong performance, securing second place in the qualification rounds.

In the junior women's event, it was a golden day for India as Rashmika Sahgal topped the podium. Rashmika scored 241.9 points to take home the gold medal, with South Korean shooters Seunghyun Han and Yejin Kim taking second and third place, respectively.

The junior team also continued India's winning streak. Rashmika, along with her teammates Vanshika Chaudhary and Mohini Singh, secured another gold medal in the team event. Their combined score of 1720 points was enough to beat out South Korea and Kazakhstan, who took the silver and bronze medals, respectively.
