Jaipur: Puneri Paltan who have put on a good show this season and seem to have a potential to be title contenders, faltered as things did not go their way as they went down to Bengal Warriors 25-19 in a Pro Kabadddi League encounter at the Sawai Mansingh Indoor Stadium here on Friday.

The score read 9-8 at half time with Bengal Warriors leading as the match seemed to be a cracker. The second half also started on a close note. It witnessed some crucial tackles and raids from the Paltans and the Warriors.

Gujarat beats Jaipur
Gujarat Fortunegiants continued with their fine form as they defeated hosts Jaipur Pink Panthers 29-22 in a nail-biting contest. An ‘All out’ forced in the 38th minute by visiting team changed the course of the match in Gujarat’s favour as they took a 6 points lead.

Then it was all Gujarat’s show, as they approached with two empty raids and and one successful tackle to walk home with a victory.
