MMCC Pune boys enters the National Finals

PUNE: Last year’s runners up at the world finals and 3-time national champions MMCC Pune defeated Damodar College Goa and DNC College Nagpur in Pune to enter the National Finals of Red Bull Campus Cricket 2019 which was played at Vision Cricket Academy on May 3 and 4.

After the city rounds and the city eliminators, Goa, Pune and Nagpur city champions played 2 matches. 

MMCC Pune beat DNC College Nagpur by 127 runs. DNC College won the toss and chose to bowl first. MMCC scored of 267 for five in 20 overs. Yash Nahar from MMCC scored 95 runs in 45 balls. Chasing the target, DNC College managed to score 140 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs. 

Later, MMCC Pune beat Damodar College Goa by 7 wickets. Damodar College won the toss and choose to bat first. Damodar College scored 136 for the loss of five wickets in 20 overs. In reply, MMCC achieved their target, scoring 140 runs for three wickets in 14 overs.
