Moghe, Prabhudesai, Nilakhe triumph

PUNE: Ved Moghe, Devanshi Prabhudesai, Abhiram Nilakhe and Simran Chetri clinched titles in their respective events at the fourth PMDTA-KPIT Little Champions Bronze Series Tennis Tournament which concluded at Kiran Dagade Sports Academy on Wednesday.

In the boys Under-12 finals, unseeded Ved Moghe continued with his winning run ousting Arjun Velluri with the score of 4-2, 1-4, 4-0 to clinch the title. 

In the girls section, top seeded Devanshi Prabhudesai outplayed third seeded Durga Birajdar 4-0, 4-0 to walk home with the title.  

In the boys Under-14 final, second seeded Abhiram Nilakhe thrashed seventh seeded Avneesh Chafle 4-2, 4-0 while in the girls section, top seeded Simran Chetri scored a 4-1, 4-0 victory over second seeded Devanshi Prabhudesai.

Boys: 
Final: Ved Moghe bt ArjunVelluri 4-2, 1-4, 4-0.
Semifinals: Arjun Velluri bt Atharva Yelbhar 7-5; Ved Moghe bt 2-Samihan Deshmukh 7-4.  
Girls: 
Final: 1-Devanshi Prabhudesai bt 3-Durga Birajdar 4-0, 4-0.
Semifinals: 1-Devanshi Prabhudesai bt 4-Dhurva Mane 7-0; 3-Durga Birajdar bt 2-Advika Mishra 7-2. 

Under-14:
Boys: 
Final: 2-Abhiram Nilakhe bt 7-Avneesh Chafle  4-2, 4-0.
Semifinals: 7-Avneesh Chafle bt 8-Arjun Kirrtane 7-2; 2-Abhiram Nilakhe bt 3-Keyur Mhetre 7-6 (6);
Girls: 
Final: 1-Simran Chetri bt 2-Devanshi Prabhudesai 4-1, 4-0. 
Semifinals: 1-Simran Chetri bt 4-Ritika More 7-3;  2-Devnashi Prabhudesai w/o 3-Kshrin Wakalkar.
