The team for the same was shortlisted by the national body (BAI) earlier this week and announced Wednesday. For the Nikhil Kanetkar Badminton Academy - NKBA trainee, representing the country at the finals is a first for both academy and herself respectively.

Sanyogita said; “Yes, it is my first for sure… it feels proud to represent my country at this prestigious event and this being my first it makes it more special for me and family.” Earlier, Sanyogita, who is also supported by the Kanetkar Sports Foundation (KSF), represented India in the Asian Team Championship, Malaysia in Februray 2018.
