Orbis School, Dastur move on

Pune: The Orbis School and Dastur Hoshang Boys High School moved deeper into the draw with contrasting wins in the junior boys’ category in the Reliance Foundation Youth Sports football tournament, at the PDFA ground, Dobarwadi.

The Orbis School latched onto a Dheer Johari (12th) strike to down Stella Maris High School in a hard-fought encounter.

Dastur Hoshang Boys High School led by a brace by Ghanshyam Patel (7th, 35th) and Tabish Sundke (33th, 40th) and a goal by Nadeem Shaikh (2nd) put an end to Angel Mickey Minie School’s run as the score read  5-0.

In the college boys category, Poona College of ASC pipped Sinhgad Academy of Engineering 1-0. The match winner was struck by Mayur Shelar (49th).
