Pavan advances in India Junior Badminton

Pune: Pavan Thokala defeated Weng Soong Darrion Michae Ng of Singapore 21-10, 21-19 in the first round of the Under-19 category of the Yonex Sunrise India Junior Grand Prix International Badminton Championship 2018 which commenced at the Modern Sports Complex on Thursday.

In another match Akash Thakur defeated Hriday Deshmukh 21-11,21-11 while Syed Saker Mohammad Sibgat Ullah from Bangaldesh got the better of Bhavadheer Ankam with the score of 21-14, 21-18.

Meanwhile, Malaysia player Roy King Yap defeated Veda Vyas Sai Anumula 21-16,21-10 to advance further.
