PCMC students set to play in Gothenburg

Pune: Two teams of 17 boys and 12 girls will represent India at this years edition of Gothia Cup which will be held at Gothenburg in Sweden later this month.

These teams have trained hard all through the year and are a mix of students from Pune and Ahemadabad. This year marks the tenth anniversary of SKF India’s participation in the Gothia Cup through its Community Care initiative. 

On the occasion SKF India launched an extension of its SKF Sports Program for four schools in the PCMC area. 

This program christened SKF Sports Education Program for Schools, was launched by Carl Orstadius, MD SKF India and Nitin Kalje, PCMC Mayor.
The program will help develop students into professional players at district, state and national levels. 

Around 80 talented boys and girls will be selected from four PCMC Schools.
