PUNE: Vikas Jadhav came out with an impressive performance  to secure a place in the semi-finals of the open category in the Mayor’s International Wrestling Championship at MIT College Ground here on Saturday.

Vikas defeated Madhya Pradesh wrestler Abhishek Pawar 10-0 while Sachin Yelbhar and Saba Kohli got direct entries to the semi-final as their opponents did not arrive at the venue. 

Ganesh Jagtap from Solapur was in prime form as he defeated Naresh of Services convincingly to enter the semi-final.
