Pune to host Round 2 of Maruti Suzuki Autoprix on Sept 22-24

PUNE: The Season 1 of Maruti Suzuki Autoprix 2017 is all set to enter the cultural capital of Maharashtra-Pune-for the second round of its autocross format.

The first round of championship concluded in Bengaluru on September 10, and is now ready to hit the tracks of Hindustan Antibiotics Exhibition Ground, Pimpri on September 22, to find the first winners of the West zone.

Spread across five months, budding racers and motorsports enthusiasts from seven cities-Bengaluru, Pune, Coimbatore, Chandigarh, Indore, Gurgaon and Guwahati, will compete against each other to battle it out in Greater Noida at Buddh International Circuit next year to win the title of Maruti Suzuki Autoprix Champion.

The second round will culminate on September 24 wherein the winners will represent the city in the national championship.

The eventual champion will bag the all new Maruti Suzuki Swift at the finale in Greater Noida on January 29, while there are cash prizes to be won by the winners of city rounds.

MARUTI SUZUKI AUTOPRIX CALENDAR:
Round 1: Bengaluru (September 8-10)
Round 2: Pune (September 22-24)
Round 3: Chandigarh (October 27-29)
Round 4: Coimbatore (November 17-19)
Round 5: Indore (December 1-3)
Round 6: Gurgaon (December 15-17)
Round 7: Guwahati (January 5-7, 2018)
Finale: Greater Noida (January 27-29).
