Purva Barve is World No 8

Pune: City shuttler Purva Barve attained a personal high moving into No 8 position on the latest BWF Junior (U-19) Rankings.

Her two-place movement is a result of the victory in Mongolia recently, which earned her 2000 points. 

The Nikhil Kanetkar Badminton Academy - NKBA trainee now has a total of 13250 points to her credit as per the latest rankings (Week-26; 28.6.1018).
