Sudhanshu scores easy win in Round 3

PUNE: Sudhanshu Nikam  scored an easy victory over Dron Bansla in round three of the Late Bharatbai Halkude Memorial Second All India Open FIDE Rating Below 1600 rating Chess Tournament at Ganesh Kala Krida Manch which commenced on Friday.

Yasar Abdullah also continued a good run defeating Thamizharasan J while Sourabh Mhamane played to a draw with Saket Kumar Chaudhary.

A total of 457 internationally rated players are participating in the tournament. The Chief Arbiter of the tournament is International Arbiter Rajendra Shidore and he is assisted by a team of FIDE Arbiters.

Third Round: Sudhanshu Nikam bt Dron Bansal1-0; Aniket Bapat lost to Akshit Jha 0-1; Yasar Abdullah btThamizharasan J 1-0; Sourabh Mhamane draw with Saket Kumar Chaudhary  ½ - ½; Ganesh Babu lost to Prerak Darvekar 0-1; Bharat Chaubey draw with Satyam Prakash ½ - ½ ; Sai Balkawade bt Rawat Jitendra 1-0; Nagargoje Dhananjay bt Kamalnayan Deshmukh 1-0; Kartik Jitendra Tetwar lost to Dhiman Mitra 0-1; Damodaradev Mareda lost to Suhaib Ahmad 0-1; Vinayak Tripathy lost to Das Jitendra Kumar 0-1; Swayam Naik  draw with Saikat Nath ½ - ½ ;  Amar Jyoti Kakoty bt AFM Krishna Prabhakar 1-0;  Arun Harishankar Tripathi lost to Anirudhha Potawad 0-1; Devansh Shah  draw with Kishor Ril  ½ - ½.
