PUNE: Tej Oak, Shrawani Deshmukh, Adnan Lokhandwala and Samruddhi Bhosale claimed titles in their respective events at the third leg of the PMDTA-KPIT Junior Champion Series Tennis Tournament which concluded at Center For Police Reseach, Pashan on Thursday.
In the girls Under-12 group finals, Shrawani Deshmukh thrashed Prisha Shinde 4-0, 4-1 to clinch her fourth title of the season. Meanwhile in the boys section, unseeded Tej Oak upset second seeded Abhiram Nilakhe 4-2, 4-2 to emerge victorious.
In the boys Under-14 finals, third seeded Adnan Lokhandwala upset top seeded Jay Pawar 5-4 (7-4), 4-2 to lay hands on his first title of the season.
