Ranchi: Late surge by Telugu Titans defenders and a couple of ‘empty raids’ from Rahul Chaudhari helped them to draw 26-26 against Bengaluru Bulls in the Pro Kabaddi League Season 5 match at Harivansh Tana Bhagat Indoor Stadium in Ranchi on Saturday.
Bengaluru Bull were in control till the 35th minute and led the game with the score-line reading 26-22. In the last five minutes, Bengaluru got in to defensive mode which cost them a five points.
Vishal Bhardwaj was the star defender for Titans as he scored seven points, while Chaudhari came out good in raiding department scoring 8 points.
In the second match of the day, Patna Pirates rallied to beat UP Yoddha 45-42 to cement its No 2 position in Zone ‘B’.
