Tvesa starts favourite in 11th leg of WPG Tour

SPORTS REPORTER

Hyderabad: Tvesa Malik, the current leader on the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour, will have a great chance to extend her lead at the top as the 11th leg of the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour begins at the scenic Boulder Hills Golf & Country Club on Wednesday.

With Neha Tripathi and Gursimsar Badwal, who are chasing the leader, away in the USA for the LPGA Stage-I Qualifying School, Tvesa’s main challenger this week will be Amandeep Drall. Although Amandeep has won twice this season, her overall results have been somewhat of a mixed bag.

Sharmila Nicollet is also at the LPGA Stage-1 of Qualifying School. Tvesa won her only title this season in the fourth leg at Oxford Golf & Country Club, while she was also second at the sixth, seventh and ninth legs.
