Two gold medals for Pranita, Pooja on Day 2

Pune: Women power dominated the day for Maharashtra as Pranita Soman and Pooja Danole bagged two gold medals each in the Giant Starkenn 14th MTB National Championship at Oxofrd Golf Course on Saturday.

Pranita started the day on a bright note as she won the Women time trial race of one lap with the timing of 20 minutes 46.368 seconds. Pranita’s state mate Priyanka Karnde took the second place with the timing of  22:22.676.

Meanwhile Kerala rider Lidiya Mol M Sunny  settled for bronze medal. In the cross country event,  Pranita clinched one more gold.
