Tyson to visit India on September 29

Pune: Boxing legend Mike Tyson is all set for his maiden India visit to launch Kumite 1 League, which will commence at NSCI Stadium in Mumbai from September 29. 

Kumite 1 League is the Mixed Martial Arts league (MMA), which will see teams from eight countries fighting it out for the title. Tyson has been signed as a brand ambassador of the league.

“This is my first visit to India and I am happy to be associated with Kumite 1 League. When Mohamedali reached out to me for the first time and discussed his vision for the league, I was convinced that this is something that has great potential,” said Tyson. 

What is Kumite 1 League? 
Kumite 1 League is the Mixed Martial Arts league (MMA), which is the brain child of Mohamedali Budhwani. Kumite 1 League will undertake a grassroots development programme in the form of a talent hunt that will create a platform to groom budding MMA talent.
