Vidya Bhavan College take big step to secure place in quarters

PUNE: Vidya Bhavan College of Commerce qualified for the quarterfinals) with a 7-0 victory over MIT Institute in the Reliance Foundation Youth Sports (RFYS) football tournament on Friday.

It was a stiff task for Vidya Bhavan as they not only had to win but also with a big margin to qualify from Group C.

Junior: (Qualifiers): Podar International School bt New Blossom Public School 1-0. Moledina High School w/o Araneshwar Marathi Medium School.
Senior:
League: Group A: The Bishop’s w/o Arihant College.
Qualifier: Loyola High School bt Blossom Public School & Jr. College 3-1.
College: (League):
Group C: Poona College bt Sinhagad Academy of Engineering 4-0; Vidya Bhavan College of Commerce bt MIT Institute of Design 7-0.

Girls:
School: Millenium National School bt Sir Parshurambhau College 3-0.
