PUNE: Around 100 colleges are expected to take part in the Vishwanath Sports Meet—a State level inter collegiate event at MAEER’s MIT Art Design and Technology University, Loni Kalbhor from January 18 to 22.
The meet will consist of 11 sports including cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, badminton, table tennis, tennis, water polo, swimming, rowing and boxing.
The overall champion will receive Rs 40,000 prize money and a trophy.
Last year MIT College of Engineering, Kothrud, won the overall championship, while Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology and MAEER’s MIT Art Design and Technology University finished second and third respectively.
