Yuvraj strikes it rich

PUNE: Pune youngster and defending champion Yuvraj Kondedeshmukh struck gold, first by being signed on to ride of Ajmera Racing, and then he won the new Class 3 Junior SX1 category on his KTM SX85. Coming in second behind Yuvraj was another Pune rider Karan Karle astride Honda CRF150.

It was 1-2-3 finish for Pune riders as Sarthak Chavan, riding for Angata Racing, finished third to collect 15 points.

Yuvraj had entered into the SX1 Foreign Expert Class too, but he failed to get into points following a bad fall when his rear tyre punctured.

In new junior category for Under-10 saw Pune boy Sarthak Chavan taking the top position ahead of Kolhapur’s Jinendra Sangaye and Ikshaan Shanbhag of Satara.
