Monday is available to all users, including those on the free tier, though its functionality differs slightly for non-paid users.Free users can access Monday in chat mode, while paid subscribers can enjoy it in Advanced Voice Mode.

Designed to deliver quirkier and more sarcastic responses, Monday aims to add a fun and engaging element to interactions with ChatGPT.The voice is reminiscent of xAI's Grok, which has gained attention for its humorous yet sometimes provocative replies.

The introduction of Monday coincides with April Fools' Day, raising speculation about whether this voice is a temporary addition or a permanent feature.Despite the timing, users have reported enjoying the novelty of Monday's responses, though some have expressed skepticism about its long-term availability.

In addition to the new Monday voice, OpenAI has recently enhanced its Voice Mode to make conversations more engaging and natural.
The latest update allows users to pause during conversations without being interrupted by the AI, providing a more seamless interaction experience.Paid users now benefit from a more direct, concise, and creative AI personality, enhancing the overall conversational experience.

The introduction of Monday and other updates reflects OpenAI's efforts to stay competitive in the AI voice assistant market. Other players like Sesame and Amazon are also innovating in this space, with lifelike AI assistants gaining popularity.
