Ibrahim Ali Khan, the son of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, was a popular star kid with a significant fan base even before starting his Bollywood journey. His charming appearance and amusing exchanges with the paparazzi had many netizens rooting for him. However, when he debuted in acting alongside Khushi Kapoor in Nadaaniyan, the response he received was not as favorable as the admiration he had previously enjoyed.
Ibrahim faced severe online trolling, as numerous scenes from the film turned into memes. His subsequent movie, Sarzameen, showcased Ibrahim's versatility, yet it didn't provide the comeback he desired. Now, Ibrahim is appealing to fans and critics for another opportunity.
In a recent conversation with Esquire India, Ibrahim Ali Khan acknowledged that Nadaaniyan was a 'really bad film' and confessed that he entered the industry with a casual attitude, thinking 'it will happen'. He elaborated, 'I was certainly putting in a lot of effort—just as I am still working hard on my speech issue. However, I feel I might have hurried into that project.' Ibrahim thinks he should have approached it with more caution.
Discussing his speech difficulty, which arose due to severe jaundice shortly after he was born, Ibrahim expressed, “I believe my speech problem won't hinder my path to becoming a movie star… Reflecting on my father's journey and the time it took for him to establish himself, I realize that I must also strive to work harder and improve.”
Ibrahim is currently engaged in getting ready for his forthcoming movie Diler, which will be his debut in theater directed by Kunal Deshmukh. As he works to make a name for himself, Iggy has a simple request for his supporters, critics, and everyone watching: 'Please give me another chance. Let's do this.'
